Service Hours: 6; Cumulative Hours: 6 I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Po-Boy Festival with Catherine and Faisal! We were stationed at the merchandise booth and spent time selling t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and posters to an enthusiastic crowd of locals and visitors. What made this experience so rewarding was the incredible sense of community and the chance to engage with people who share a love for New Orleans and its vibrant culture. Each interaction brought something unique. There were stories from visitors who had traveled to be here for the Taylor Swift concert, locals reminiscing about past festivals, and countless smiles. I gained a fresh appreciation for New Orleans' strong community spirit. Seeing people come together to celebrate food, music, and culture- and being able to play a role in making the event memorable- was inspiring.
